About
The story behind Cherp...
I was a social brand strategist and blog editor for a company at the end of 2007, early 2008 and was actively using Twitter. I wrote a couple blog posts about Twitter, but the one about "Creative Ideas..." went crazy - tons of link backs, most comments on the blog, people quoted the article on Twitter. For months, that article was the most active article on the blog.
I knew I was onto something, but looking at other people on Twitter, they all seemed to think Twitter was a blog traffic generator. I was beginning to feel that, of all the vehicles for REAL brand strategy online, Twitter had the most upside.
2008 was spent exporing a number of directions related to Twitter branding, marketing and strategy. We looked at application development (too crowded,) evaluated strategies for building followers (good experience, but not right for us,) and finally settled where this whole thing started - creative strategy.
Now, Cherp is leveraging the experience of our staff to bring to market a unique agency. We're an entrepreneurial team with experience including brand strategy, print & television advertising, blogging, ecommerce, SEO/SEM, interactive development and copywriting. Expect big things.
